Seven Things That Made Me Smile This Week

With my iPhone in hand, I decided to document the things that made me smile this week.

A cool red shag rug — the dog is cute too!  That's Bella!

This super cool New Age, stylish travel container available at Target.  Even TSA Approved.

Caught!  This really made me chuckle.  It's a DTBD-like art project gone bad.  It looks like a mirror makeover but then the would-be-crafters dumped the project near the trash in my building's basement. So sad, yet amusing at the same time.

Another fun app had me sketching like Picasso.

Fake candles bring me so much joy.  Yep, it's battery operated.  Safe and very practical.

I don't know if you've been to IKEA lately, but they have fun new carts.  Ingenious!

Last but not least is this heart-shaped flower outside my friend's apartment.  How sweet.

So I share my fun photos to remind you to always take the time to stop and smell the roses.  Life is full of joy and sometimes we look past all its beauty and humor.

I love that my dog made your blog. Funny you made a list of the things that made you smile because I noticed that I laugh so much more everyday. So my 7 things are Skyla, Skyla, Skyla, Skyla,Skyla, Skyla,and Skyla. Skyla is my 4 month old daughter for all of you DTBD follwers.

I LOVE shag rugs. They are comfortable to lay on & roll around like an animal. Your Picasso sketch is sooo FETCH! Especially the high rise buildings & the little trees. I guess what I got from it: Just because everything is so big around you doesn't mean that little things don't still exist! --The new IKEA carts are ingenious! Who woulda thunk it?! And the battery operated candles just plain lovely. With it getting darker outside earlier, the candles can definitely do some justice especially for those romantic nights... ;)
