Last Tuesday I was fortunate enough to get a ticket to attend Michael Jackson’s memorial service at the Staples Center here in LA. A friend of mine won the raffle but had to work and graciously gave me his ticket. During the entire memorial I was overcome with tears and smiles.
It had always been one of my dreams to visit Neverland Ranch. Hopefully, his estate will become something of a theme park like Graceland so we all can see how the Greatest Entertainer in the World lived. We know good ol’ Mike was a bit over-the-top and regal in his décor and fashions. Below are some pics of the home were he lived in LA before he passed and some shots from his memorial service. R.I.P. Mr. Jackson. We miss you and you will live through your music forever.

The home is 17,171 square feet. It is a three story French Chateau style estate. It sits on 1.26 acres, and includes 7 bedrooms, 12 fireplaces, entrance hall with curving staircase, formal living and dining rooms, a den with adjoining library, theater room, family room, gourmet kitchen with eating area, wine cellar and heated swimming pool. Hi Derrick! I'm a friend of Troy's. My name is Shirlene but he refers to me as "The Big Ticket." Anyway! He told me to go to your page and check out the MJ memorial stuff that you've posted. I'm pressed that you were actually there and experienced something so great. I, too, cried throughout the entire memorial; it was definitely an emotional day for his family, friends, and fans. I'm still can't believe he's gone ...he will be missed forever. May he rest in peace and God be with his family through this ordeal.

You know what's crazy...is that I thought about you and wondered if you would attend the memorial service. I'm sure it had to be overwhelming. I'm still in shock. I had tears throughout the entire memorial as I watched on TV and then when his daughter spoke, I sobbed like it was my own daddy. Very emotional...and wow, that house! How gorgeous is that and very regal..I love it. Thanks for the pics and a closer look at how the best entertainer in the world lived in his final days. We all definitely love and will miss Mike.
